Description
Originally produced from a cross of OG Kush with Purple Urkle and a landrace hemp strain, Abacus Diesel has been bred with a newer iteration of Abacus, but still retains many of the wonderful characteristics of its parents such as the OG Kush smell and flavor and slight purple coloration from the Urkle.
These are smaller nugs that have come off during the trimming or curing process and that are available in much greater quantity for a smaller price. This makes it a great selection for those seeking to make their own extracts, oils, edibles, topicals, or just to stock up on some smoking/vaping herb.
While hard to place because the time of day which you consume AD seems to shift the effects, AD appears to be a hybrid that favors the sativa end of the spectrum. When consumed, Abacus Diesel goes straight to the dome and lingers there with a heavy buzz that slowly lifts like a cloud to a comfy and happy stone.

Appearance
Dark, dense nugs with purple tinges among the trichrome crystals and orange pistils.
Smell
Hinting at its Diesel lineage, Abacus Diesel smells gassy and earthy, although the diesel fumes have been reduced a bit in place of some of the more earthy and green aromas. However, the smell after being ground up is LOUD. It is spicy with gas fumes and pine and mint.
Taste
The diesel comes through only slightly in the taste with a prevailing flavor of sweet grass, earth, and sandalwood. The taste is capturable thanks to the smoothness of the smoke.
Effects
Abacus Diesel causes an immediate headrush upon consumption. Another nicely balanced hybrid in the Dr.Ganja lineup, Abacus Diesel seems to be more of a sativa-dominant hybrid than say our Lemon Diesel, which leans more on the indica side. Regardless, the dominant effect is very comfortable and relaxing and could be used to take the sting off an afternoon or as a nightcap at the end of the day.
